Agile Globale Produktionsnetzwerke
In an era where companies are increasingly operating in an environment marked by high volatility, uncertainty, and complexity, an appropriate strategy and the efficient, agile design of global production networks have become critical factors for sustainable business success.
The two-day compact seminar “Agile Global Production Networks” at the wbk Institute for Production Engineering provides a practical introduction to the fundamentals, methods, and challenges of global production. The focus is on both the design and operation of global production networks. Participants are introduced to the fundamentals of global production and immediately apply the methods they have learned in a realistic production environment. During the assembly of electric motors, global locations are represented through distributed assembly stations.
Building on the theoretical foundations, there is a special focus on efficient collaboration within the production network using modern technologies. Participants learn to identify barriers to collaboration, establish targeted information flows, and design production networks to be both efficient and agile.
In this two-day compact seminar, participants will learn:
- The fundamentals of global production networks and the immediate application of what they have learned in a real production environment
- How to analyze and evaluate challenges in production networks from a global perspective
- The use of modern technologies to promote efficient collaboration in order to design agile and high-performing production networks
The compact seminar is aimed at specialists and managers from all areas of the company who wish to further their education on the interrelationships within production networks and learn tools for dealing with current challenges.
The seminar fee includes meals for both days of the event.
